Clear terms on when refunds apply — and when they don't.
We work fast and we start immediately. Our refund window is narrow by design — not to be difficult, but because professional estimating work begins the moment a project is confirmed. Read this before you pay.
Refunds are only available within 1 hour of payment — or before work has started — whichever comes first. After that point, no refund is issued. Post-delivery concerns are handled through revisions.
A refund request is eligible only if submitted within one (1) hour of payment confirmation, or before the Studio has commenced work on the project — whichever occurs first. Once either condition is met (the one-hour window has elapsed, or work has begun), no refund will be issued under any circumstances. It is the client's responsibility to review the Proposal carefully before making payment.
For projects designated as Urgent or Rush at the time of engagement, work typically commences immediately upon payment confirmation. As a result, the one-hour refund window does not apply once work has started. No refund will be issued for Rush or Urgent engagements where production has begun, regardless of elapsed time since payment.
Once an estimate or deliverable has been delivered to the client, refunds are not available. All post-delivery concerns — errors, omissions, or adjustments — are addressed through the Studio's revision process. Every project includes one (1) free revision within the original scope. If the client identifies an error attributable to the Studio, a revised deliverable will be issued at no charge under the free revision entitlement. Any revision request beyond the original scope, or any second revision, will be quoted and billed separately.
To request a refund within the eligible window, email info@globalengineeringllc.com with the subject line "Refund Request · [your reference or project name]" within one hour of your payment confirmation. Include your name, project reference, and payment confirmation. A senior will review and respond within one business day. If the request is within the eligible window and work has not commenced, the refund will be issued to the original payment method within 3 business days.
The following situations are explicitly non-refundable: (a) requests submitted more than one hour after payment confirmation; (b) requests submitted after the Studio has commenced work, regardless of elapsed time; (c) Rush or Urgent projects where production has begun; (d) dissatisfaction with the estimate result where the drawings, scope, or specifications provided were incomplete, ambiguous, or changed after submission; (e) market-driven cost variances between the estimate date and bid date; (f) any circumstance arising after delivery of the completed estimate.
The Studio does not guarantee that estimates will match final contractor bids. Estimates are professional opinions of probable cost. If the client believes the delivered estimate contains a quantification or pricing error attributable to the Studio, they should submit a revision request under the free revision entitlement. The Studio will review and correct qualifying errors as a revision — this is the appropriate remedy for any post-delivery concern, not a refund.
