How we handle your information — plainly stated.
Global Engineering LLC is a small studio. We handle your information with the same discretion we apply to your project drawings — tightly held, never sold, and deleted when no longer needed.
When you contact us via our quote form, we collect the name, email address, phone number, company name, and project details you provide. We may also collect standard server log data (IP address, browser type, referring URL) through our hosting infrastructure. We do not use tracking cookies beyond those strictly necessary for the website to function.
Information you submit is used exclusively to evaluate and respond to your project enquiry, to issue your estimate, and — if you become a client — to manage the engagement. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with any third party for marketing purposes. Project files and drawings you share are treated as confidential and reviewed only by the senior estimator handling your account.
Quote-request data is retained for 24 months from the date of submission. Client project data is retained for 7 years in accordance with standard professional-services record-keeping requirements. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time (see Section 6 below).
This website does not use third-party analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, etc.). We use a single session cookie to maintain form state. No personal data is passed to third-party advertising networks.
All data is transmitted over TLS 1.3. Project files shared via the upload form are stored in encrypted cloud storage with access limited to your assigned estimator. We maintain a mutual NDA program — request one at any time before sharing sensitive drawings.
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, email us at info@globalengineeringllc.com with subject line "Privacy Request." We will respond within 5 business days.
